We write this testimonial not so much to those that attended but rather to those that did not in hopes you might consider next years Summer in Iceland:

To the Attendee:

What made this conference special was more than meeting new people and learning about new technologies. Participating in these conferences is actually helping to mold the future of VR. Will Nikon step up and adopt change swe suggest, will VR Tour companies listen to the needs of the VR Photographer? These are answers that will possibly be
learned in next years conference but allows us to have a voice. Plus you’ll put faces behind the screen names in the forums and meet others doing the same thing, maybe in just a different way.

To the Sponsor:

As sponsor we do not look for short term gains but rather the interaction between company, product and people. No Skype, no emails, no video chat – nothing replaces one on one interaction with the customer. People “show” us modifications they may have made or suggest improvements by demonstrating their workflows. This information is invaluable for the enhancement of our products and services.

To the Speaker:

We listen. Speakers are really the engine that drive these conferences. From people sharing advanced technological advances to people merely showing how they made that one special shot. I’m sure most would agree speakers leave us the stories and show us the direction the industry is going. We owe huge thanks to every speaker that gave their time to share their story. To the IVRPA Board of Directors:

Again we all walk away wow’d. The coordination involved is no small task. You helped to make this another memorable conference and even provided shopping tips for our wife’s Special thanks to Sam, Carlos and Sandra, Ayrton and Willy and to the other board members that put this all together.

Next Year Iceland2013:

After each conference we hear in the forums “I should have attended”. The IVRPA recently announced Iceland for next years Summer conference and now you have entire year to save and plan for the event. Depending on where you live this could mean saving (for us here in the US) $5per day. It’s been 4 days since the NYC conference ended but
already have tucked away $50 (going overboard already). We’re hoping conference in Iceland 2013 will be one of the biggest ever.
