The NYC 2012 Conference organization is pleased to announce the TRYP New York Times Square South as the Official NYC2012 Hotel.

There are many hotels in NYC and a wide price range to choose from, but the TRYP New York Times Square South is located very close to B&H, it’s a brand new hotel from a very good hotel chain (Tryp Hotels), we got a generous group discount and according to our scouts Sam Rohn (IVRPA Director) and Jürgen Schrader (IVRPA Vice-President), it meets our needs for this event with good and modern facilities including FREE Wi-Fi Internet access for all our guests!

It is not mandatory that NYC2012 attendees stay at this hotel, but it is convenient location wise and also because part of the program will be run here. On June 15 B&H closes for the weekend at lunch time (Friday) and we’ll move to the hotel for the afternoon and evening programs.

NYC 2012 attendees can make their hotel room bookings directly on the main hotel website via a corporate discount code. E-mail nyc2012@IVRPA.org to ask for your special corporate discount code matching the prices on this page.

The IVRPA as secured a block of 20 rooms for NYC2012 attendees. This room block can be expanded beyond the 20 rooms if needed, but is dependent on on room availability. The sooner you make your booking the best!

NYC2012 Group Room Rates

The following rates are valid from June 12 to June 16, 2012.

If you wish to anticipate or extend your stay, same rates apply up to one week before or after the conference subject to availability.

  • TRYP 1 King Bed Non-Smoking (1 or 2 guests): $239 USD per night
  • TRYP 2 Queen Beds Non-Smoking (1 or 2 guests): $259 USD per night
  • 1 additional guest* (total 3 guests): $30 USD per night
  • 2 additional guests* (total 4 guests): $60 USD per night

* Additional guests only apply to the Tryp 2 Queen Beds Room up to a maximum of 4 guests per room.

Room rates are net and are quoted exclusive of local taxes, fees and assessments, currently 14.75%, plus $2.00 per room, per night New York City Occupancy tax, plus $1.50 Javits Convention Center fee (subject to change)

All NYC2012 guests have free internet access in rooms.

Breakfast is not included.

Booking is made by each NYC2012 attendee directly on the TRYPHOTELS Corporate Website. NYC2012 Attendees will need a special corporate code that will give access to these rates.

New York City is known to be a very expensive city, we searched around for a while and although we could find some cheaper hotels, what we got from them couldn’t match this deal.
If you consider that you can share your room with another NYC2012 attendee, splitting the cost by two or three, maybe even by four NYC2012 attendees, suddenly, it becomes much more affordable attend this event, it’s an option everyone has to make!
